Interpreters

The court will not provide an interpreter for small claims cases. 

For settlement conferences, you may use a friend or family member as an interpreter as long as they are not involved int he case or disruptive. 

For your trial however, you must provide your own accredited interpreter.  You must pay all interpreting fees yourself (with the exception of a sign language interpreter). If court rules in your favour you can ask that your court costs be paid by the other party to help reimburse the interpreting costs.
